This Estonian folklore linocut print was born from an inner conflict — the artist’s indecision between life in the countryside or the city. Represented by two birds, the chicken symbolizes rural life, while the pigeon embodies urban existence. This linocut print is versatile and can be displayed in either orientation, allowing viewers to choose which side resonates with them.
Each piece in this limited edition linocut print series is hand-carved and printed by the artist, preserving the unique textures and contrasts that give the work its depth and meaning.
